Cevin Soling is an award-winning filmmaker, author, academic, artist, and musician. In 2009, he produced and directed the film The War on Kids. It has received accolades from The New York Times, Variety, and The Huffington Post. He also published a related book, The Student Resistance Handbook. He has written, directed, or produced nearly 20 films that aired on MTV, BBC, The Learning Channel, HBO, Showtime, Documentary Channel, and PBS. These films have received critical acclaim and won numerous awards, including Boston International Film Festival (Best Documentary), High Times Stony Award for Best Documentary, Williamsburg International Film Festival Best Documentary, and Atlantic City Film Festival Best Documentary. He is the author of the Rumpleville Chronicles book series.
